How do I know if I have a claim?
It depends on how your injury or illness happened, its impact and the rules that apply. If you’ve needed ongoing treatment, taken time off work or experienced lasting changes to daily life, our team can assess your situation and explain your options.
What will it cost me?
Your initial case assessment is free, with no obligation to proceed. If we can help, we’ll explain the fee arrangement and any costs before you decide to move forward.
For most compensation claims, we act on a no win, no fee basis, so you do not pay our legal fees unless your claim succeeds.
For workers compensation in NSW, the costs are generally funded through the Independent Review Office (IRO). We will confirm with you before proceeding.
How long do I have to make a claim?
There are time limits, and they vary depending on your state, the type of claim, and sometimes on when you first became aware of your injury. Some schemes allow a late claim where there is a good reason. Rather than assuming you have left it too late, it is worth asking. What if an insurer or another lawyer has said I don’t have a claim?

What can I say about LHD? This company is absolutely awesome. When I first thought of sueing, I rang George Malouf and Partners. 6 weeks later a clerk from George Malouf and Partners contacted me to say they couldn’t find any information about me and/or the time span of the date of the injury till then was too long.
